One of our primary principles is that replication is critical – engaging in projects where the design has broad applications. Scale is our advantage and therefore ultimately a benefit for our clients. With a growing portfolio of certified modular housing designs, the time taken to deliver a high-volume housing requirement is significantly reduced.
If a project requires customizing due to specific requirements, our core modular platform is designed to allow for modifications.
Manufacturing

Tawera Group’s integrated manufacturing partners have worked closely with us in developing unique manufacturing production processes to ensure volume, scale and quality.
With many years experience and heavy investment in automation and robotics, the accuracy and speed of our modular housing production continues to advance beyond that of traditional construction.
Additionally, close proximity to a much larger number of componentry manufacturers reduces procurement times of many materials, as well as providing greater contingencies in managing supply chain disruptions.
This comprehensive overarching quality plan includes Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s), Work Method Statements (WMS’s) and a major focus on steel and welding quality (including traceability, welding certification and high frequency auditing).
This firm commitment to the highest standards of quality control ensures with great confidence we are meeting the strictest requirements of the NZ building code – a global benchmark.
Transport & Shipping / Holding Yard / Cranage

Tawera Group has created a team of senior expertise from the construction industry, with proven experience in major Tier 1 contractors. Combining this with over 30 years experience in delivering multiple developments in commercial, industrial, apartments and large scale residential ensures a strong and robust on-shore construction program is delivered.

On-shore construction / Completion
- Owning more and more of the construction vertical where relevant, ensuring more coordinated and faster on-shore completion.
Given the sometimes unique dimensions of modules, as well as the technical expertise required for ground transport – our centralised coordination of logistics and placement is a critical component of the project scope.
Tawera Group has created a panel of integrated specialised shipping, logistics and cranage partners to ensure the path from manufacturing to project site is harmonised, ideally increasing speed of delivery, whilst also building in control of contingent events.
